Behind that sit more than ten years of leadership responsibility in commercial management at Deutsche Telekom – and a habit of building solutions myself rather than delegating them.

Road distances at the push of a button
A logistics provider used to look up road distances for quotes by hand. A tool built on public tariff and routing data now delivers them in seconds.

Quoting as a web application
A security services company had outgrown Excel for its quote calculations. A lean web application replaced the spreadsheets – and runs at the client today without me.
Pension administration
A data pipeline instead of copy-and-paste
Published annual financial statements had to be searched by hand for pension provisions. A Python pipeline now pulls the figures out in a structured, repeatable way.

- Who is this for?
- Businesses and departments with a specific, recurring manual process – calculations, reports, data reconciliation – that should be automated reliably. Industry is secondary: past projects range from logistics and security services to finance and pension administration.
- What does a project cost?
- That depends on the problem, which is why there is no price on this site. Some projects are done in a few focused hours, others run over several phases. After a short description you receive a concrete quote with a clearly defined scope.
- Excel macro or web application – which is right?
- If a single team works in one file, a well-built Excel tool is often the best solution. Once several people work at the same time, access rights or history matter, or Excel files circulate by email, a web application is the more robust choice. We settle that in the first conversation.
- Do you work remotely or on site?
- Mostly remotely, from Bonn, Germany. For workshops or handovers I'm happy to come by in the Rhineland and Ruhr area.
- How do you handle confidential data?
- Wherever possible I develop with anonymized or synthetic data. Access to real systems happens only by agreement, with an NDA on request. Case studies are published only with the client's written permission.
